Pre-populate your Taxd Self Assessment

If you’ve previously filed with Taxd, you can pre-populate your new 22-23 self assessment with previous information. It’s easy to do, and can make the tax filing process even quicker.

If you've used Taxd before, we've got some good news for you. You can quickly and easily pre-populate your new 22-23 self-assessment with information from your previous filing. This handy feature will save you time and make the tax filing process even smoother!

Step 1 - Click the Cloud Icon

At the top right of your Taxd Self Assessment, you should see a cloud upload icon. If you click this, you’ll see where we can pull data from existing sources. Import data icon at Taxd

Step 2 - Click 'Previous Taxd Submission'

Step 3 - Select Tax Year you would like to use

Select The Tax Year to Pre Populate From

Step 4 - Select the categories you would like to re-use in this tax return

Choose categories to pre-populate

Step 5 - That’s it! You’re 22-23 tax return is pre-populated.

All the information from a previous tax return will now be added onto your current tax return. It’s extremely important to review all categories and questions before you submit.

If there are any questions specific to a tax year, this will leave a category to be marked as ‘incomplete’.
